This past weekend I’ve indulged in some creative play. . .
And it felt really, really good.
Being creative used to be a part of my every day.
The we moved. . . and we packed up my studio. . .
All boxed up and in storage until the new studio space could be constructed [sigh].
Okay, so it’s only been a month. . . but trust me, it felt like a year!!
With my new creative space about to be started in a matter of days, I deviously sneaked a few of my supplies home.
Just a few things. . . like some Prima stamps, coloured pencils, pretty papers and a few pretty embellishments.
Not enough for anyone to notice. . . but enough to keep my creativity satisfied!!
Creativity is like a rash.
It needs to be scratched . . . to achieve some relief. . .
but then after a while the itch is there again. . .
And you have to keep on scratching.
Trust me, I’m feeling very itchy!!
My mind and my creativity journal are overflowing with ideas and I can’t wait to unpack all my supplies again.
But first I have to plan and layout a new creative space.
I’m thinking I’d like a new look.
Something that inspires me. . . a space that is practical . . . and functional.
I look forward to sharing it with you very soon.
I’d love for you to follow along with my creative journey here at Shabby Art Boutique
